My Uncle Archie is a huge ? in my family history. That was not his name, and I can't figure out how he even got this name. On a census roll w/my father & family he is listed as Teres. The writing is awful, and I don't believe that is actually his name either. First it seems to be a girl's name, and second that just doesn't look right. All I know about my uncle is that he served during WWII with the Air Force. And the story I was told is that he died in shortly after the war. My father, his brother died when I was only 6, and I have no family to ask question. I did research the Air Force, but came up with nothing that matches. Any help would be very welcome. Additional info. He was born in Okla, lived a short time in Texas, and from there, nothing.
