Maiden name being Asselstine with French- Dutch origins, being derived from Van yesseltine (sp?) but when came over to America it got anglisized to Asselstine. There is a hill in France near Dutch border named. Asselstine family moved from Pennsylvania area to Southern Ontario and I think great grandfather was a blacksmith and grandfather was a Dentist in Toronto.
