This John Askins was born in either St.Mary's County or
Charles County,Maryland.His father was George Askins
(1680-1747)and his mother was Elizabeth(maiden name ukn).
Elizabeth died in 1749.
George was the son John Askins(1640-1680)and Rebecca
Clocker(they both died in St.Mary's County,Maryland).
John Askin(1640-1680)arrived fom England about 1657/8.
I descend from John Askins(1726-1796),through his son
Courtney Askins(1765-1842).Courtney was born in Fairfax
County,Virginia and died in Breckinridge County,Kentucky.
I have much information on Courtney and his descendants.
