henry newton askins probably son of my gr.gr.gr. grandfather, Charles S. askins,
born tn in 1788/came to tx in 1832/shelby co
other son Wm Green stayed in east tx,other son possibly your relative moved towards w.tx. I may have info on henry newton askins,possibly called "newt", may still be
listed in 1850 Teneha tx census.
