Nancy Ann ASKINS/HASKINS md. William LANGTON in the late 1800s in St. Tammany Parish, LA. Her marriage record shows both names. I have not been able to find any information on ASKINS or HASKINS families that have a Nancy Ann. They settled in what is now Vernon Parish, LA near the Sabine River. Many of these early settlers were back and forth across the TX-LA border. Your Charles and a son of Nancy's, William Langton, both fought in the Battle of Mansfield. Since you have done much research on the ASKINS family, I was wondering is you have any knowledge of a Nancy Ann ASKINS?

Also, am curious about your BIVEN line. My gf was Jacob Newton BIVEN, s/o of Henry BIVENS in East Texas. One of Henry's sons went to OK to look for gold. Is there a connection?

Thanks,
Kitty Biven Hoffman
