Hello cuz, I am a descendant of Mary and Samuel Cannon. Can share all sorts of info on the Cannons. Have a lot on the Tankersleys but got it all from HTTP://tommymoore.com. Mary and Samuel named one of their sons Laurner Blackman (my gg grandfather) after your Learner. I have several questions for you. 1) I found the gravesite of my Laurner Blackman. It was a small private, neglected place and the lettering on the stone was very worn. In my notes I wrote "Laurner Blackburn". Now I see Laurner spelled in many ways and Blackman for the middle name. Is your spelling from a reliable source? 2) I also didn't know Lydia married a William Cannon. I have several Williams with no known spouse. Do you have additional info on him such as dates or parents? 3) What do you know of Ann Askins? I have Askins on another branch that I've had little luck with. Cordelia Adaline (Delia) Askins 1865-1915, dau of George Askins and Lucretia Pryor. Married Harvey Taylor Simmons, children America, Emily, and Amanda. Often wondered if they might be connected somehow. 4) My info on Learner stops after one more generation. I have two wives (Margaret Ann Gillam and Sarah Ann Sweet) and 12 children with only names and no dates. If you would like to share contact me at jwheeler@bardstown.com. Thanks, Brenda
