Mr Bates I am very grateful for your taking the time to respond to my "cry for help" as it were. My wife's name before marriage was Askin (without an "S". She felt that somewhere the Askins came from Poland but no one is sure. We are trying to try and trace her ancestors and would be grateful for any information, guidance,suggestions or assistance etc
