I am also chasing Askins families from Ireland. My line goes back to Sarah Askins b. 1797 Ireland, married Joseph Bobiear 1820, Wexford and came to Australia 1853. Had brother George born Enniscorthy m. Susan, died Australia 1851. Parents were Jane Gore and Edward Askins. Any connection?
