I am descended from Ashworths that migrated to Trinity, TX. I would suggest that you start with James Ashworth, married to Keziah Dial in S.C. in the late 1700's. Early in the 1800's they and several of their children migrated to St. Landry Parrish, Louisiana and then on to Texas. Several lines settled first in Jefferson Co/Orange Co Texas and then later moved to Trinity Co. Do you have access to Ancestry.com? There are several Family Tree's that might be helpful. I have only researched my direct line but if I can be of help please contact me back. Joyce
