Hi,
Can anyone help me? I am looking for the relatives or descendants of Abraham Ashworth, born in 1835 or 1836 and died 9 June 1883 in his 48th year at Southport.
He was once married to Miss Grace Dewhurst and later married a lady called Betty, with whom he had two children called Ellen and George Ashworth. He had a daughter called Elizabeth who died at the age of 5 on 7 April, 1866. At this time Abraham Ashworth was the landlord of New Inn in Bacup, Lancashire. He retired from New Inn pub about 1876.
