James Ashton (l580-l65l) was born in St. Albans and died in Providence, Rhode Island on 27 May l65l. He married Alice Honeychurch (l582-l643) in l60l. His father was James Ashton (l550-l624) born in St. Albans and died on 5 Nov. l624 in St. Albans, England. He married Margaret,(l55l-l6ll) also from St. Albans. James Ashton'(l550-l624) father was also named James Ashton (????-????). No other data on this James Ashton.
