My family is searching for any information abotu their family. My Garndmom Ruth Shirley Madden Forrest was born November 14 1921 and past January 13 2000. She is the daughter of Mary Ashton and Shirley Madden. Her grandfather was a John Ashton whom died at 54 year sold due to an injury at work. He married Mary Ann Jackson dat eof birth 1851 they had from what we know 7 children. John a male approximately in 1879, Jane approximately in 1880, Edith ? that is a mystery, Anna approximately born in 1870 and my great grandmom Mary born in 1882. I was told they were Pennsylvania Dutch. There IS a Jackson Ashton in the family.
