Tom, I just happened to look at your posting again, and don't know where I got the William/Phebe connection from your note! Sorry about that. I still don't recognize your line, but it's possible there were some Thomas' in his line (father, brother, sons)-- not sure of connections. Anyway, just yesterday we found a new son in a descendant of William that has the middle name Holmes (mother is a Foulkrod), so we don't know where that name is coming from? But more signs of a possible connection.
