I am still trying to find some guidance on where to look....I have a copy of the Inventory of estate for Thomas Burrowes and Hannah Ashton, dated 1790.

From Vol. XXII of the Archives of the State of New Jersey page 38:

Burrowes, Thomas / (Hunterdon)/ NJ / married
Ashton, Hannah / (Hunterdon) / NJ /
18-Feb 1772

I am trying to determine who Hannah's parents were? I believe a Jos. Ashton and Susan Lawrence, but am not sure.
