Just purchased a book by John E. Groh: ANCESTORS & DESCENDANTS Asher, Seigel, Wheaton and Rust Families in the 19th, 20th, and 21st Centuries. Right off the bat it does not seem to relate directly to Bartlett Asher side, even though there are some John Asher's. Looks like they all went from Scotland to Canada with some coming to USA to MN, AZ, and CA. Kissing cousins perhaps?
