I found an old diary 1888 that was written by Mollie Harrington Asher, who was married to Sheriff Henry B Asher. They had four children Henry H, Dudley, Alice and Joel. Henry had a Brother named William who was the jailor during Henry's time as Sheriff of Douglas, Lawrence Cty. Ks. I have made 2 trips to Lawrence Ks. and have alot of information on the family. Since my first find I have aquired a second diary Mollie wrote during her last days. It is from 1927 thru 1929. I have some personal items and photos also. If this sounds familiar please contact me. A Asher family reunion could be just the place to find decendents of Mollie and Henry.
