i had a g. grandfather named James Asher who said he was from Missouri. Can pick him up again in Nevada 1870 and oregon 1880 with wife named Mary and their children. I have no idea who his mother & father were. He lists his place of birth on census as Indiana. I am hopeful this can tie in. Glenda Thomas
