I am looking for any information regarding James Columbus Asher b. 8/7/1833 St Francois Co. Missouri d.8/4/1919 Dent Co. Missouri.
My maternal gr. grandmother was Louise Elizabeth Mathes - Shephers. Her parents were Barbara Asher Mathes and Allen Mathes.
Also I was wading through some old letters and such of grandma Louise's and found a note: " Jim C Asher borned 1873 assinated June 24, 1900". Who is Jim C Asher and does anyone know of this assination?
I am just today starting my Asher research so do not have much to share except on my great grandmother Louise.
