I am researching my gr-gr-grahdfather, Asa Asher, b 1821/22 Indiana, d aft 1880, m 1) Nancy, 2) Sarah, 3) Ann Ross. He was in Elkhart, Ind. on the 1850 census; Allen Co., Ks. on 1860 census; Jasper Co., Iowa on 1870 census; and McDonald Co., Mo. for the 1876 special census and 1880 census.
Childrens names are: Marion b 1849 Ind.; James Monroe, b 1851 Ind.; Sarah J. b 1852 Iowa; Madison b 1853 Iowa; Mathilda Ellen b 1855 Iowa; Alvin b 1857 Iowa; Albert b 1859 Kansas; Mahala Emma b 1861 Kansas; Elizabeth b 1863 Kansas; and Washington b 1864 Kansas.
Any information on Asa or his children would be appreciated. I will be glad to share what I have.
