“Tellico Plains---The death angel came to the home of Mr. J.E. Ashe and claimed for its victim his wife. Mrs. Ashe professed faith in Christ in early childhood. We can’t understand, but God knows best. Funeral services were conducted by Dr. Wolf. Her remains were laid to rest in the Tellico Cemetery.
J.E. Ashe and family wish to thank their friends for their kindness during the sickness and death of wife and mother.”
