I have good documentation from his enlistment in the Rev. War through his death in 1831. I have been told his parents were John Ashe/Ash and Isabel Patterson and I am looking for a source to verify this information. Is his line from the Ashe/Ash family in early Charles Town, SC or the Delaware River area of PA? Can any of the Ashe/Ash researchers out there please point me in the right direction?
