I am not researching the Ashe family but had this in my old notes for some reason, maybe a friends family name. But maybe it will help someone.
From court records:
Samuel Guile was hanged 16 OCT 1675 in Amesbury, Mass. for the rape of Mary Ashe wife of John Ashe. Rape occurred 25 DEC 1674.
