After digging a bit, I have concluded that there are two Hugh Waddell's, Hugh D. Waddell m.Susan Henrietta Moore being the nephew of Maj. Hugh Waddell m.Anne Moore.

Hugh D. Waddell b.1799 m.Susan Henrietta Moore
John Burgwin Waddell b.1770
Gen. Hugh Waddell & Mary Haynes

Maj. Hugh Waddell b.1764
Gen. Hugh Waddell & Mary Haynes

Maj. Hugh Waddell b.1764 was a brother of John Burgwin Waddell b.1770.

It is also apparent that Anne Moore m.Maj. Hugh Waddell is the aunt of Susan Henrietta Moore.

Anne Moore b.1781
Judge Alfred Moore & Susanna Elizabeth Eagles

Susan Henrietta Moore b.1803
Alfred Moore, Jr. b.1783
Judge Alfred Moore & Susanna Elizabeth Eagles

Anne Moore is the sister of Susan Henrietta Moore's father Alfred Moore, Jr.
