My grand father Walter John Ashdown lived and worked as a gardener in West Malling and Larkfield from the 1880s till the 1940s his wifes name was louisa mary I donot know her surname but I think it may have been Dunaway I know she was born in Great Shelford Cambs. they had 2 children Ellen Louise and Hilda Mary [my mother] if you have any information on my grandfather or his parents or siblings please e mail me at dhpbi@aol.com thanks Dave
