Michael, I have not been able to go back as far as you at this stage. Would you like to preview my James Ashdown?

James ASHDOWN, christened 27 Dec 1825, son of William ASHDOWN, Westerham, Kent
(presumably the son of William ASHDOWN and Charlotte PATERSON/PATTERSON as listed on IGI).

Other siblings were:
Mary Anne 1815, Westerham
William 1816, Westerham
Thomas 1818, Westerham
Charles 1820, Westerham
John 1822, Westerham
George 1824, Westerham
James 1825 (same as above)
Alfred 1827, Westerham
Esther 1829, Westerham

Edwin 1834 Chiddingstone (possibly same family)
Emma 1835 Chiddingstone "
Robert 1838 Chiddingstone "

James ASHDOWN married Rosetta Ellen BRISLIN, 8 Nov 1847, Gillingham, Kent
They had 6 children baptised as far as I know, at Gravesend, Kent

James William 1857
William 1859
Henry John 1863 (my direct ancestor)
Mary Ann 1866
