Thank you for replying to my message. I am delighted to hear of a Mary Ashdown b in Otford in 1761 - there is a branch of the Groombridges living in Otford too, certainly in the C19, if not before.
Do you have parents of Mary Ashdown? I am not clear if they are the John and Jane who married in 1760? If so, do you have any siblings of this marriage?
Would be pleased to reciprocate with any Ashdown info I have that may be of interest to you.
