I am looking for any connections to one of my great-grandmothers, Emily Ashdown. She was born around 1869 an died June 16, 1952. She married Albert Funnell in 1886. Albert Funnell was bortn in 1865 and died in 1941.

Albert and Emily had at least five children: Dorothy, Elsie Mary, William Stanley, Joyce, and Albert Richard. Albert Richard was my paternal grandfather. He was born Februry 7, 1903, in Hailsham, Sussex, England. The family emigrated to Canada around 1907, I believe.

I have records on a William Ashdown who I believe was her brother, but I am not sure. He died March 11, 1938. He was interred in a private grave at Ocklynge Cemetery, Eastbourne, Sussex, England.
