according to the dna results of the ashby lines, Relatives
of Capt Thomas Ashby with paper trails back to him and relatives of Robert Ashby of Stafford with paper trails back to Robert Ashby are close relatives either brothers or 1st cousins as the results for their descendents are extrmely close. Marge Thionpson who posts on here had her male relatives test. they are direct descendents of Robert Ashby of Stafford Virginia, My branch and a number of others with direct trails back to the sons of Capt Thomas Ashby including his son Robert and Stephen and Henry all tested as relatives but also as close relatives of Robert Ashby of Staford
