John Henry Ashby (b. Betw 1815 & 1825) and Sarah E. Lee (b. Abt. 1844 in Todd Co., KY)are my gg-grandparents. They married Dec. 17, 1865 in Saline Co., IL. The only child I'm sure about is John Henry Ashby b.Sep 1873 in Saline Co., IL, d. 25 Sep 1955 in Henderson Co., KY. I have been trying to trace them for over 2 years.
This is what we have so far;
Sarah E. Lee's parents are Issac B. Lee b. Abt. 1816 in Tennessee and Maribe E. Calbert b. Abt. 1823.
Sarah E. Lee was first married to Unknown BIVIN. They had one child, Georgianna Bivin b.1861, she married Sam Walker, They had 2 children, Edward F. Walker b. Abt. 1183, and Sammie Walker b. Abt. 1885.
Georgianna Bivin went on to marry Willy T. Austin b. Abt. 1861.
Any information on this family or anyone connected would be greatly appreciated.
