Geary was raise by his Great Uncle Southard I think He called him Elijah but without the "E", they lived in Ohio Co, Ky. More about the Geary's -My dad's Parents died in 1926-my maiden name was Geary. Ashby connection - I'm Mayme AShby Crowder Grand dau.
