Andrew, son of Johann Heinrich Eschbach

Most researchers list Andrew as the second son of Johann Heinrich Eschbach but as the same time list his date of birth to be 1735, some three years before Johann arrived in Philadelphia aboard the ship, Winter Galley from Rotterdam Holland on September 5, 1738. One can confirm his arrival from the ship’s passenger list. The passenger list provided the names of only the heads of households so it can not be certain if he come alone or had been accompanied by a wife or any children, Many list Johann as marrying Maria Elizabetha (maiden name unknown) in York County in 1738, the year he arrived in America. Further son, John, is said to be his eldest son born 1739/40.

I realize that this seems to be an old subject but I have never seen a convincing argument or documentation that really supports Andrew being th second son. Question: what is the data or convincing argument that supports this contention when it appears from the data that Andrew is the oldest and it is very possible that Johann was married to Maria Elizabetha and had a son Andrew, before he came to America. WHAT AM I MISSING?
