I am also descended from a Martin Ashbaugh
who was married to Christina Barbary and lived
in Westmorland County, Pa.
Some data from the 1880 census indicate that
this Martin Ashbaugh's (my ancestor)father was born in Maryland, as were both of Christina's parents.
I would be interested in any further information regarding
his parents lineage or any knowledge of Maryland Ashbaughs.
