With regard to Daniel Ashabranner. . .
The book titled, The History of Randolph County, written by Lawrence Dalton and published in 1946-47, contains references to Daniel ASHABRANNER. The only reference other than those previously noted with dates is as follows:
"January 9, 1820, Daniel ASHABRANNER sold a claim on Glaze Kernon creek to Bernard ROGAN. ROGAN and Daniel CHEEK were the men who laid out the town of Currenton in 1820. ASHABRANNER is listed as being the operator of a lead mine in Madison County, Missouri, during the period around 1925-30." pages 109-110
I wonder if that should read 1825-30?
