In 1850 Scott Co VA census, house 1312, Thomas Ash, age 45, m to Martha, age 40. Children are: James M., 13; Esther, 12; Rena 10; John, 8; Sarah, 7; Elizabeth, 2.
Next door to Thomas is Anthony Bledsoe. (I have Ash and Bledsoe in my family during this period.)
