I have a copy of land sale record by heirs of Daniel Ash, deceased, dated April second 1846, Scott Co. VA. Heirs named: Samuel Ash Andrew Ash, Thomas Ash, George Robinett for Mary Ash, Elizabeth, Lavina Rollen, Matilda Lawson. Samuel Ash's daughter, Arminda Ash and George & Mary[Ash] Robinett's son Samuel Robinett, married in Miller Co. MO. 1860,and were my great grandparents they were cousins. Kinda mixed up, huh?
