For the researchers of Andrew Ash in Scott Co., Virgina. I have not any sure proof but it appears that Daniel Ash is the head of the Ash clan in Scott Co., Virginia. He was the only Ash there in the 1820 census. This place where he lived was a part of Lee county before 1814 & was the only Ash on Lee county tax records of 1799 & 1810. He was born in South Carolina & wife was Susan born in North Carolina. This may help you if you are searching this line. It seems from the census of Scott county that his sons were Samuel, Andrew, Thomas, Thedore, Daniel, Nathaniel & two other sons that I have not secured!!......Ron
