im a student from ohio... My family history i dont know much of but i would like to learn... My dads name is Joe Laymond Ash and His dads name is Richard Laymond Ash... The story of how the ash's came to america is two brothers came over ash then was spelled ashe and it was during the civil war era they lived in virgana before it seperated but once war broke out one was on west virgani and the other from virgana they never talked again execpt their wives kept in contact then my ancestor changed ashe to ash
