I am looking for info on Michael W Ash, a Brigadier General in the
War of 1812 and of Irish birth. I don't know who he married, or when-
just that he had a dau. Sophie Julie who m. Thomas Blodget Lincoln.
Sophie was a second cousin of Gen. George B McClellan through his
grandmother a Miss Brinton. She was a cousin of Benjamin Rush and
Dr. James Rush, the noted physician.
Any help GREATLY appreciated!
