My great, great, great, great grandfather (John Ash) came from Cornwall England to Quebec,Canada and into Southern Michigan. He died in Michigan in 1852. I heard a story that he came from England with a brother. And they walked from Canada into Michigan. John married a Esther Haviland.I only know that John's father was killed in a coal mine in England. Any connection?
