I'm trying to place my grandmother Matilda Ash (1819/23 to >1880),
daughter of Daniel Ash who is listed in the 1820 Scott Co., Va census.
Matilda married Stokely Lawson and had 14 children in Sneedville,
Hancock Co., Tn, of whom Elizabeth and Julia Ann (twin to Mary Ann),
were my 2nd great Granny Moore and 3rd great Granny Frost, respectively.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
