Amanthus Experience Ash was born Aug 27, 1846 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana to Edwin Davis ASH and Matilda CAVE. She died June 14, 1916 in West Union, Fayette County, Iowa. Amanthus married Leander M. BURTON or BUNTON on October 11, 1865 in Fayette County, Indiana.
Edwin Davis ASH was born March 17, 1822 in Maryland, the son of John ASH Sr. & Martha "Patsy" ASHTON. Edwin died December 29, 1896 in West Union, Fayette County, Iowa.
Matilda CAVE was born February 16, 1830 in Kentucky to William CAVE & Lucinda ROGERS. She died November 14, 1887 in Westfield Township, Fayette County, Iowa.
