The male adult "Ash"es in Gibson Co., Ind. in 1827 were Thomas C. Ash and his son James R. Ash. I believe my Great-grandfather, Robert P. Ash, was also the son of Thomas C. My Robert P. Ash was born in TN, married in Gibson CO and left before 1830. I haven't been able to trace Thomas C.
