Antique 1800's PHOTO ALBUM Leather TIN TYPE, 65+ Photos
I bought this at a sale in El Paso, Tx.

I believe the family in the photos is from Illinois.

There are over 65 photos. The leather cover is embossed with the name Fannie S. Ash.

The album measures +- 8.5 x 10 inches. The metal clasp and page hinges are all in good condition. The leather
cover is scuffed from handling. Many of the photos have hand-written notes identifying the individuals.

He is selling some pics of your family now. One picture of a house in Springfield? Alton?, ILL, with a note that said "Papa bought this house and we were born here".

Hope you can contact the seller or the new owner and get copies! One was labeled Gr-Grandfather Ash. I did download a few, but not many. Maybe the seller would put the pics back online for you?
