Maria Catharina Esch was the first of that name in my line. All I know about her so far is that she was probably born in Germany; married to Ludwig Minsker about 1745 in Germany; landed from the ship Christian on 13 September 1749 in Philadelphia, PA; and died before 1800 probably in Clark’s Valley, Dauphin Co., PA.
Maria and Ludwig had the following children:
John Minsker, b about 1745 (my ancestor)
George Minsker, b about 1747
Kasper Minsker, b about Sep 1749 (at sea)
Maria Agnes Minsker, b 6 Dec 1750
Catharina Minsker, b about 1753
Ludwig Minsker II, b 12 Dec 1761
Anna Maria Minsker, b 23, Dec 1769
Any other information you can offer about the Ash/Esch/Oesch family would be appreciated.
