My ggf was Benjamin Asche b. 1835, d. 1891, m. Eva Strausberger daughter of fLevi Straussberger. She was b. 1848 in Strausberg, Germany and d. 1899. He also m. Ottilie? Ashe b. 1847 in Preslou Preussen, d. 1874. I know of nine children. I have been informed that Benjamin Ash had a cigar store on Fifth Ave, NY and he later settled in Statesville, NC.
