Hi, Karen -
My name is Susan Ash Williams & I grew up in Belleville, IL in the 60's & 70's. .My family lived just a couple of blocks away from Julie's family. I didn't know much about them. I think Julie's father was my father's second cousin..I have not lived in Belleville since 1978, though I keep close ties to the area. Unfortunately, both of my parents are deceased. However, I do still have an "Ash" aunt living in the area. I just went through all my yearbooks from Belleville West high school (71-74)& I can't find Julie anywhere in them. Can't remember if she was a couple years younger or a couple years older than me. ..Either way, I would have thought I would have run across her in one of those books. Perhaps she went to one of the Catholic schools, but I would doubt it because #1) She was never in my Catholic elementary school, and #2)the Ash's aren't Catholic. . .At any rate, please feel free to get in touch. .. I have info on Edgar & Grace (Emmons) Ash, their parents & their children (one of whom was my father, John Edgar Ash). Thanks - Sue (Ash) Williams
