I am a decendant of Elias Melvin Ash s/o Elias and Sarah McClain Ash. In 1992 I communicated with Carl Albert (who at one time was Speaker of the House of Representatives) . Carl Albert is decended from Lydia Ann - he said he had several researchers trying to find parents of Elias with no success. My line is as follows: Elias/Elias Melvin/Sarah L. Ash who m. Alfred Sullivan/Delta Sullivan m. Ezra Fleetwood. I too would like to know more about the Ash family.
