Hoping you can help me! You stated your grandmother was Elizabeth (Ash) Taylor...
I have found a source that says an Elizabeth Ash married a John Taylor February 14, 1833 and had children:
Richard born July 1, 1836 (Carbonear Methodist Church)
Noah born March 22, 1839 (Carbonear Methodist Church)
Amelia born Oct. 14, 1843 (Harbour Grace Anglican Church)
perhaps:
Patience Elizabeth born May 04, 1849?
I was told she was the daughter of John & Elizabeth Taylor, and the only John Taylor married to an Elizabeth I can find, is the family noted above.
(I believe she belongs to this family as both she and Noah used the name "Fielding" for their children.
Can you help me tie Patience to this family?
If not, can you verify the children I have listed? If so, can you also share info regarding her parents & family?
