I am looking for information on Charles ASH who served in the militia of Charles County Maryland in 1777. He married Grassy (Grace) STRANGE and was listed in the censuses of Port Tobacco, 1775-78. Listed in 1790 census of Charles County MD; moved to Nelson County KY c. 1795. Who were his parents? And where were they from?
