I differ have found all kind of family records that go back to that very thing. Also I have a picture of his headstone says he was born June 9, 1820 and died Dec 22, 1882. in Arkansas buried in Ruddick cemetary, his grave was moved from Union Chapel in the early 60's when the lake went in.
I went to the Court House in Eureka Springs, recently going through records found an Elodwick and Sarah Ash sold some land after the original Elodwick was dead. On further investigation you will find there is a younger Elodwick Ash, I do know what your claim is based upon but feel you are way off.
